Detailed Itinerary of the Affordable 10 Days Uganda Gorillas chimps & Golden Monkey Tour

Day 1: City Tour and Hotel

On arrival at the Entebbe International City Tour around Kampala visiting the Bahai Temple, Kasubi Tombs, Uganda Martyr’s Shrine at Namugongo, King’s Palace Bulange, Ntanda etc. After the City Tour drive to check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Cassia Lodge Buziga.

Day 2: Transfer to Ziwa Rhino  Sanctuary (Rhino Trekking)

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to trek the endangered species Rhinos. Travel for 3-4 hours depending on the traffic jam and when you reach here, proceed to the headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around the Rhinos then later in groups with a park ranger, enter the bushes to trek the Rhinos for 2-4 hours and when you meet them take various photos to keep for memories. After Rhino trekking drive to Murchison Falls National Park, check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Pakuba Safari Lodge.

Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Cruise Murchison Falls National Park

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the Park to enjoy a Game Drive along the various tracks in the Park watching wildlife wander around their natural vegetation habitat. After the Game Drive, break off for lunch then proceed to the banks to embark on a boat cruise along the Victoria Nile watching Hippos and crocodiles beneath the waters and birds. Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park (optional guided nature walk)

Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to Kibale Forest National Park a journey that rewards you en-route views of the terrain vegetation, birds and lunch. After a while driving, you reach the park check-in your lodge for relaxation, then if you prefer embark on a guided nature walk around the nearby vegetation. Dinner and Overnight at Kibale Forest Camp.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest National Park

Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to Kibale Forest National Park headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around the Chimpanzees then later in groups of 8 with a park ranger guide enter the forest to track the Chimpanzees for 2-4 hours and when you meet them an hour is allowed in their presence taking various photos to keep for memories. After Chimpanzee Tracking, proceed to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Kibale Forest Camp.

Day 6: Transfer to Mgahinga National Park

Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to the stunning Mgahinga National Park located a few kilometers off Kibale Forest National Park. En-route, enjoy views of the green terrain vegetation, birds and lunch. After a while driving, you reach the Park and check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Amajembere Safari Lodge.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga

Wake up very early at 4:30 am and transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around the Mountain Gorillas then later in groups of 8 with a skilled park ranger, enter the forest to track the Mountain Gorillas for 3-5 hours and when you meet them, only an hour is allowed in their presence taking various photos to keep for memories. After Gorilla Trekking (Nyakagezi Gorilla Group) return to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Amajembere Safari Lodge.

Day 8: Golden Monkey Tracking in Mgahinga

Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the dos and don’ts in the presence of the Golden Monkeys. After you are distributed in groups with a park ranger guide you enter the forest to track the Golden Monkeys for 2-4 hours and when you meet them, take various photos to keep for memories. After Golden Monkey Tracking, return to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Amajembere Safari Lodge.

Day 9: Bird watching at Mabamba Wetland Swamp

Wake up have breakfast then with your luggage go to Mabamba Wetland Swamp to enjoy bird watching where you watch various species of birds as well as the sought after shoebill stork in the swampy areas of the wetland. After bird watching, check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Laico Victoria Hotel.

Day 10: Depart to Kampala

Wake up have breakfast then transfer on your departure to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport to board your flight back home.
