This 1 Day (Cheap) Rwanda Gorilla Trek starts from Kigali very early in the morning at 5:00 am starting with breakfast at your hotel/ lodge. After delicious breakfast, transfer with a driver guide who briefs you about this exciting Gorilla Trekking Adventure in the Park.
Drive for 2 hours and 30 minutes to Volcanoes National Park in Ruhengeri District and when you reach the Park, go to the park headquarters for short briefing on conduct around the Mountain Gorillas. later in distributed groups of 8 with a park ranger, go to the starting point where you leave to trek the Gorillas in their natural thick forest vegetation habitat.
Enter Forest to trek the Mountain Gorillas for 3-5 hours depending on their current location in the forest vegetation. Follow different routes with walking sticks/ poles watching greenery, birds. Later you meet the Gorillas and spend an hour in their presence taking various photos to keep for memories.
Take many photos with the Gorillas at all angles as you watch them enjoying their daily lives. After an hour, around the Gorillas, leave to embark on your return to the park headquarters.
Arrive at the headquarters where you are welcomed back with some coffee and Gorilla trekking Certificate to keep with you. Later with your Gorilla Trekking Certificate, depart to Kigali or the Kigali International Airport to board your flight back home.
