Gorilla Trekking is very exceptional as a safari activity and includes you transferring at the Park headquarters for short briefing on conduct around the Gorillas. You shall be distributed into groups of 8 with a lead park ranger to lead you into the thick green forest vegetation to trek the Gorillas for a period of 2 to 6 hours.
Follow the different trails watching birds, primates then after you meet the Gorillas and stay in their presence for a period of 1 hour taking many photos to keep.
After trekking the Gorillas return to the park headquarters to pick up your Gorilla Trekking Certificate to take with you back home.

Bwindi Forest National Park
Bwindi Forest National Park is located in the South Western Part of Uganda and known prominently to offer amazing Mountain Gorilla Trekking Adventures to all travelers from all over the world. Bwindi Forest National Park is thickly forested with varying plant species in which the Mountain Gorillas inhabit.
Bwindi Forest has four varying sectors with different Mountain Gorilla Trekking Groups and in these you can trek and watch the Gorillas. These sectors include; Buhoma Sector with Mubare Gorilla Group, Rushegura Gorilla Group, Habinyanja Gorilla Group, Rushaga sector with Nshongi, Mishaya, Busingye, Kahungye and Bweza, Ruhija Sector with Oruzogo, Kyaguliro, Bitukura and Mukiza then Nkuringo Sector with the Nkuringo Gorilla Group, Bushaho Gorilla Family, Christmas Gorilla Family, Posho Gorilla Family.
The Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi are worth trekking as it gives you an opportunity to trek and watch the rare species of Mountain Gorillas in their natural forest vegetation habitat after trekking them for 3 to 5 hours. To trek the Mountain Gorillas, you MUST have a valid Gorilla Trekking permit that costs US $700 per person and if you prefer going for the Gorilla habituation Experience which is done at Rushaga Sector, then your Permit will cost you US $1500 per person. This gives you a chance to stay longer in the presence of the Mountain Gorillas for a period of 4 hours in groups of 4 with the researchers leading the group as they inform you about the Mountain Gorillas, their habitat, way of life as well as leading prospective.
Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is located in the South Western Part of Uganda after the busy town of Kisoro. Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is known to offer amazing Gorilla Trekking Adventures to travelers from all over the world interested in watching the rare species of Mountain Gorillas in their habitat.
Mountain Gorilla Trekking in the park is done along one Gorilla Trekking Group referred to as the Nyakagezi Gorilla Group which is exciting to trek and watch in the green thick forest vegetation as you get to transfer from one point to another searching for the Mountain Gorillas then after you meet the Gorillas and stay in their presence taking many photos to keep.
After trekking the Nyakagezi Mountain Gorilla group, you shall return to the park headquarters to pick your Gorilla Trekking Certificate to take with you back home.
Chimpanzee Tracking
Chimpanzee Tracking is also exciting to do while on Group Safari in Uganda at the stunning Kibale Forest National Park the mostly sought after destination. Other than this, there are other Chimpanzee Tracking Destinations in Uganda and these include; Kalinzu Forest, Kyambura Gorge, Kaniyo Pabidi Eco Tourism Site (Budongo Forest), Ngamba Island.
Just Like Gorilla Trekking, you are distributed into groups of 8 with a lead park ranger guide to go track the Chimpanzees in their natural forest vegetation habitat. You get to the Kanyachu Visitor’s Center where you are briefed on the conduct around the Chimpanzees then after you are transferred to the starting point where you leave from to enter the green forest to track the Chimpanzees for a period of 2 to 6 hours depending on where they are located.
Follow the differing trails in the forest watching birds, wildlife, primates, monkeys then after a while you shall meet the chimpanzees and stay in their presence taking many photos to keep. After tracking the chimpanzees, you return to the park headquarters to pick your Chimpanzee Tracking Certificate to keep with you.
Boat Cruises for Groups
Boat Cruises are exciting to do while on group safari in Uganda as they offer you an opportunity to explore the vast vibrant water bodies as you watch wildlife along the banks/ shores longing for water to beat their thirst.
Boat Cruises in Uganda are done along Lake Victoria, River Nile which are found in the different National Parks which include; Murchison Falls National Park, Lake Mburo National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park where you can watch many schools of hippo and crocodile beneath the waters. The Boat cruises give you a chance to watch various bird species too as well as the terrains which are located at distance as well as the green vegetation.
